  • Football Offensive Player of the Week
    Steph Carter, Jr., Maryville - The Hendersonville, Tennessee junior wide receiver tallied two touchdowns in a 44-16 win over USA South foe Huntingdon last week. Carter caught six passes for a career-high 162 yards with touchdowns from five and 70 yards out.     Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
    Mychal Stillwell, LaGrange - The Warner Robins, Georgia freshman tight end caught a team-high six passes for a career-best 85 yards in a 26-21 win at USA South rival Brevard last week. Also Nominated: CJ Ferguson, Methodist; Cintez Gibson, Southern Virginia.

    Football Defensive Player of the Week
    Grant Henderson, Maryville - The Miami, Florida senior defensive back collected five total tackles and returned an interception for a score in a 44-16 win over USA South foe Huntingdon last week. Henderson's pick-six was returned 56 yards and gave the Scots a 20-point third quarter lead. Of his five total tackles, one was an assisted take down for a loss.     Football Defensive Rookie of the Week
    Spike Adams, Southern Virginia - The American Fork, Utah freshman linebacker collected ten total tackles and broke up two passes in a 21-17 win over USA South foe Methodist last week. Adams had four solo tackles while assisting on six others. Also Nominated: Frank Walker, Greensboro; Ched Smith, LaGrange.

    Football Special Teams Player of the Week
    Brandon Matson, LaGrange - The Apopka, Florida punter assisted his defense by landing four of his six attempts inside the 20 yard line. He punted six times for 215 yards as three of them were fair caught. Also Nominated: Thomas Chapman, Greensboro; Luke Hensley, Maryville; Gage Butler, Southern Virginia.

  • Men's Soccer Player of the Week
    Tiago Feler, N.C. Wesleyan - The Buenos Aires, Argentina junior midfielder was a part of both goals scored in the team's only contest last week, a 2-1 win at USA South rival Brevard. Feler assisted on the opening goal of the match in the 75th minute before scoring one of his own, the eventual game-winner, in the 84th minute.     Men's Soccer Defender of the Week
    Matthew Walker, Methodist - The Apex, North Carolina junior goalkeeper posted two shutouts last week as the Monarchs notched a 1-0-1 record. In 180 minutes played, Walker stopped all nine shots faced, five in a 6-0 win over Shaw and four in a scoreless draw with USA South foe Greensboro.     Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week
    Zach Marlier, William Peace - The Apex, North Carolina freshman defender was a part of a Pacer back line that pitched a shutout in the team's only contest last week, a 1-0 win over USA South foe Southern Virginia.   • Women's Soccer Player of the Week
    Emily Walsh, Greensboro - The Lexington, Kentucky freshman forward scored twice and added an assist last week as the Pride posted a 2-0 record versus USA South competition. In a 2-0 victory over Southern Virginia, Walsh scored in the 14th minute to give the Pride a two-score advantage. In a 3-1 win over Meredith, Walsh assisted on the eventual game-winning goal in the 54th minute before adding an insurance score of her own in the 87th minute.     Abby Nunez, Brevard - The Homestead, Florida sophomore goalkeeper posted two shutouts last week as the Tornados notched a 2-0 record against USA South competition. In 180 minutes played, Nunez stopped all five shots faced included one in a 3-0 win over Salem and four in a 3-0 victory over N.C. Wesleyan.     Anna Rymer, Salem - The senior outside hitter from China Grove, North Carolina averaged 3.08 kills and 3.00 digs per set as the Spirits posted a 4-0 record last week with wins over USA South foes Methodist, Greensboro and Pfeiffer coupled with a victory over Bob Jones. Rymer posted double-doubles in two matches with week-highs of 12 kills (twice), 13 digs, one assist, and one service ace (twice).     Blake O'Brien, Methodist - The senior libero from St. Louis, Missouri averaged 7.00 digs and 1.29 assists per set as the Monarchs posted a 1-1 record last week against USA South foes with a win over Meredith and a loss to Salem. O'Brien posted week match-highs of 33 digs and seven assists.     Izzy Boulay, Brevard - The freshman setter from Newnan, Georgia averaged 12.17 assists and 4.00 digs per set as the Tornados posted a 1-1 record last week against USA South foes with a win over N.C. Wesleyan and a loss to Southern Virginia. Boulay posted a double-double in each match and highs of 38 assists, 13 digs, two service aces, and one kill.   • Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
    Sawyer Helms, Pfeiffer - The Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina junior placed 11th out of 165 runners at the Roanoke Invitational last week. Helms completed the 8,000-meter course in a program-record time of 24:56. Also Nominated: Kaelen Ruder, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
    Ezequiel Cannas, Pfeiffer - The Mooresville, North Carolina freshman placed 37th out of 165 runners at the Roanoke Invitational last week. Cannas completed the 8,000-meter course in a personal-best time of 26:28. Also Nominated: Garrett Rogers, Southern Virginia.

  • Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
    Nicole Black, Mary Baldwin - The Lexington, Virginia freshman placed 20th out of 141 runners at the Roanoke Invitational last week. Black completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 22:23. Also Nominated: Channing Barker, Brevard; Maddie Hladik, Pfeiffer; Bayleigh Redd, Southern Virginia.

    Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
    Nicole Black, Mary Baldwin - The Lexington, Virginia freshman placed 20th out of 141 runners at the Roanoke Invitational last week. Black completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 22:23. Also Nominated: Ryan Germain, Pfeiffer; Jasmine De Souza, Southern Virginia.
