Men's Golfer of the Week
Nikko Taggart, Southern Virginia - The Katy, Texas junior placed first out of 98 golfers at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational last week by shooting a seven-under par 209. In the three-round event, Taggart opened with a three-under par 69, then shot an even par 72, before finishing with a four-under par 68. Men's Golf Rookie of the Week
Gavin June, Methodist - The Nicholson, Pennsylvania sophomore, playing in his first year of collegiate golf, placed tied for 14th out of 98 golfers at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational last week by shooting a six-over par 222. In the three-round event, June opened with an even par 72, then shot a one-over par 73, before finishing with a five-over par 77. Women's Golfer of the Week
Erin Donovan, Piedmont - The Southaven, Mississippi senior competed in two events over the past two weeks. First, Donovan captured the Golfweek October Classic championship, featuring 120 golfers, two weeks ago by shooting an even-par 216. In the three-round event, Donovan opened with a one-over par 73, then shot a two-over par 74, before finishing with a three-under par 69. Donovan then placed 36th out of 79 golfers at the Historic Triangle Invitational by shooting a 12-over par 156. Women's Golf Rookie of the Week
Madi Frisby, Southern Virginia - The Gardnerville, Nevada freshman placed 15th out of 30 golfers at the Battle of Bulle Rock two weeks ago by shooting a 38-over par 182. In the two-round event, Frisby opened with a 21-over par 93 and finished with a 17-over par 89. Also Nominated: None.
