  • Baseball Player of the Week
    Nick Tubolino, William Peace - The senior from Raleigh, North Carolina went a combined 10-for-20 (.500) with a .560 on-base percentage, and a .650 slugging percentage to go along with five runs scored, seven RBI, one double, one triple, three walks, two stolen bases, and one sacrifice fly as the Pacers posted a 4-2 record last week. In taking two of three games from Johnson & Wales (RI), Tubolino was a combined 3-for-9 with two runs scored, three RBI, one double, and one stolen base. In taking two of three games from Westminster (Pa.), Tubolino was a combined 7-for-11 with three runs scored, four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Also Nominated: Javier Quintana, N.C.     Baseball Pitcher of the Week
    Ian Swanson, Methodist - The freshman from Tallahassee, Florida appeared in one game, a start, and earned the win against Piedmont who is receiving votes in the D3baseball.com national poll. Swanson went seven innings, allowing one unearned run on four hits with one walk and five strikeouts. Also Nominated: Michael Richards, Greensboro; Drake Hobgood, N.C. Wesleyan; Jack McIntosh, William Peace.

    Baseball Rookie of the Week
    Gavin Turner, William Peace - The freshman third baseman from Cary, North Carolina went a combined 6-for-18 (.333) with a .409 on-base percentage, and a .333 slugging percentage to go along with three runs scored, four RBI, two walks, and a sacrifice fly. In taking two of three games from Johnson & Wales (RI), Turner was a combined 3-for-11 with one run scored and two RBI. In taking two of three games from Westminster (Pa.), Turner was a combined 3-for-7 with two runs scored and two RBI. Also Nominated: None.

    Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week

    Adanya Day, William Peace - The senior third baseman from Lexington Park, Maryland went a combined 11-for-19 (.579) with a .652 on-base percentage, and a 1.263 slugging percentage to go along with seven runs scored, 13 RBI, one double, four home runs, and three walks as the Pacers posted a 5-1 record last week. In a doubleheader sweep of Kenyon, Day was a combined 3-for-6 with three runs scored, seven RBI, and two home runs. In four games at the Triangle Collegiate Softball Classic, Day was a combined 8-for-13 with four runs scored, six RBI, one double, and two home runs.     Softball Pitcher of the Week
    Emma Bullin, Pfeiffer - The senior from Ararat, North Carolina appeared in five games, two starts, last week for the Falcons, posting 1-1 record with three saves. In 15.0 total innings, Bullin posted a 2.33 ERA and allowed 13 hits and just one walk while striking out 12 batters. Her win came against 25th-ranked St. John Fisher in complete-game (five innings) shutout fashion as she allowed just two hits. Bullin's saves came against Elmira, St. John Fisher, and Emory, as she tossed a total of five shutout innings in those three contests.     Softball Rookie of the Week
    Ramzie Bryant, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman catcher from Rocky Mount, North Carolina appeared in four games last week and went a combined 4-for-11 (.363) with a .429 on-base percentage, and an .818 slugging percentage to go along with five runs scored, seven RBI, two doubles, one home run, two walks, and one sacrifice fly.     Softball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
    Peyton Lane, Pfeiffer - The freshman from Williamston, North Carolina appeared in three games, all starts, last week for the Falcons, posting a 3-0 record. In 16.0 total innings, Lane posted a 2.19 ERA by allowing six runs (five earned) on 16 hits with seven walks and eight strikeouts. Lane got the wins over Elmira (four innings, zero earned runs) 25th-ranked St. John Fisher (6.1 innings, four runs), and Emory (5.2 innings, one run). Also Nominated: Addyson Romanczyk, N.C.   • Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Ethan Miles, Pfeiffer - The sophomore attackman from Charlotte, North Carolina totaled eight points on seven goals and one assist in the team's lone contest last week, a 29-4 win over USA South foe LaGrange. Also Nominated: Kelcey Marston, Huntingdon; Nicholas Murciano, LaGrange; Tyson Mauri, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
    Elias Solano, Pfeiffer - The senior faceoff specialist from Winston-Salem, North Carolina won 12 out of 14 from the “X” while also collecting nine ground balls in the team's lone contest last week, a 29-4 win over USA South foe LaGrange. Also Nominated: Max Dorman, Brevard; Kanyun Avner, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
    Jaxon Mcmonigle, Huntingdon - The freshman attackman from Woodville, Alabama totaled five points on four goals and one assist to go along with seven ground balls in the team's lone contest last week, a 14-4 win over USA South foe Brevard. Also Nominated: Kanyun Avner, Southern Virginia.

  • Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Kaitlyn Coleman, Methodist - The graduate student attacker from Charlotte, North Carolina scored a career-high seven goals in the team's lone contest last week, a 19-3 win over USA South rival Southern Virginia. Coleman also added three draw controls and one ground ball in the victory. Also Nominated: Laura Crone, Piedmont; Kenzie Todd, Meredith; Xan Hill, Brevard; Kate Hudson, Huntingdon; Kenzie Poulsen, Southern Virginia; Skyla Jo Charette, Pfeiffer.

    Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
    Ava Trankina, Piedmont - The senior midfielder from Johns Creek, Georgia totaled 13 draw controls, eight ground balls, and five caused turnovers while also adding five goals and seven assists in a 2-0 week for the Lions against USA South opposition. In a 23-0 victory over N.C. Wesleyan, Trankina totaled six ground balls, a season-high five caused turnovers, four draw controls, one goal, and six assists. In a 22-1 victory over Greensboro, Trankina collected a season-high nine draw controls to go along with two ground balls, four goals, and one assist.     Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
    Makenzie Mickelsen, Southern Virginia - The freshman midfielder from Garland, Utah totaled six points on four goals and two assists to go along with eight draw controls, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a 1-1 week for the Knights. In a 20-2 win over Sweet Briar, Mickelsen scored twice with two assists, three ground balls, three draw controls, and two caused turnovers. In a 19-3 loss to USA South rival Methodist, Mickelsen scored two goals with five draw controls and one ground ball.

  • Men's Tennis Player of the Week
    Matthew Hurley, Methodist - The junior from Faulconbridge, New South Wales, Australia earned a win at both the top singles and doubles spots last week in the team's lone match, a win over USA South foe Mary Baldwin. In doubles, Hurley teamed with Decklan Ryner to grab the victory. Also Nominated: Mathius Dessureau, Pfeiffer.

    Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    Ethan Carlyle, Methodist - The freshman from Goldsboro, North Carolina earned a singles and doubles win last week in the team's lone match, a win over USA South foe Mary Baldwin. Carlyle earned the singles win at the number-four spot while teaming with Cameron Roth at the third doubles position for a victory. Also Nominated: Aissultan Mukhambetov, Pfeiffer.

    Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Matthew Hurley and Decklan Rayner, Methodist - The Monarch duo earned a win at the number-one position in the team's only contest last week, a victory over USA South foe Mary Baldwin. Also Nominated: Bogdan Stan and Andrews Valdez-Arze, Pfeiffer.

  • Women's Tennis Player of the Week
    Emma Hulicki, Methodist - The sophomore from Raleigh, North Carolina earned a singles and doubles win, both at the number-one spots, last week in the team's lone contest against USA South foe Mary Baldwin. In doubles, Hulicki teamed with Caitlin Tihanovich to grab the victory. Also Nominated: Mariana Faint, Salem.

    Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    Chloe Koons, Salem - The first-year from Pilot Mountain, North Carolina earned a singles win at the number-five spot in the team's lone contest last week, a victory over Hollins. Also Nominated: Helen Boeshore, Methodist.

    Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Emma Hulicki and Caitlin Tihanovich, Methodist - The Monarch duo earned a win at the number-one spot last week in their only match, a 6-0 victory over their opponents from USA South foe Mary Baldwin. Also Nominated: None.
