#FlashbackFriday: Dr. Robert Simpson (N.C. Wesleyan)

The USA South Athletic Conference will once again give a nostalgic look at institutional staff members each Friday as a part of the Conference's #FlashbackFriday initiative. The Conference will showcase an individual's past, both in visual and written forms, detailing where they have been and how they currently serve their athletic department. Dr. Robert Simpson - N.C. Wesleyan University - Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
  • Former football and men's lacrosse student-athlete at Frostburg State University.
  • Completed undergraduate studies at the University of Baltimore and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University.
  • Ordained a Deacon in 1995 and an Elder in 1998 in the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church.
  • Earned Doctorate in Ministry from Sewanee: The University of the South.
  • Enters first year leading the Battling Bishop women's lacrosse program.
  • Also serves N.C. Wesleyan as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Religion.
