KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches recently announced the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year. The USA South Athletic Conference is represented by three men's teams (Brevard, Methodist, N.C. Wesleyan) and four women's squads (Brevard, Greensboro, N.C. Wesleyan, Salem).

A total of 742 soccer teams (303 men, 439 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Of that total, 168 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.

United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
