  • Baseball Player of the Week
    Trevor Testerman, Greensboro - The junior outfielder from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina went a combined 9-for-13 (.692) with a .714 on-base percentage, and a 1.692 slugging percentage to go along with six runs scored, ten RBI, one double, four home runs, and one walk as the Pride took two of three games from USA South foe Pfeiffer last week. In game-two, a 23-8 win, Testerman set a new USA South single-game record and tied the NCAA Division III mark by slugging four home runs.     Baseball Pitcher of the Week
    Seth Svadeba, William Peace - The junior from Clayton, North Carolina appeared in two games, both out of the bullpen, last week for the Falcons, earning two wins over USA South foe N.C. Wesleyan. Svadeba tossed five shutout innings, allowing just two hits with two walks and four strikeouts.     Baseball Rookie of the Week
    Patrick Sido, Mary Baldwin - The freshman outfielder from Springfield, Virginia went a combined 6-for-12 (.500) with a .563 on-base percentage, and a 1.167 slugging percentage to go along with six runs scored, eight RBI, two doubles, two home runs, and three walks as the Fighting Squirrels took one of three games against USA South rival Southern Virginia last week.     Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
    Carter Malartsik, Greensboro - The freshman from Sarasota, Florida appeared in one game, a start, and earned the win in a 9-1 victory over USA South foe Pfeiffer last week.   • Softball Player of the Week
    Jordyn Tong, Greensboro - The sophomore infielder from Arcadia, Ohio went a combined 4-for-8 (.500) with a .500 on-base percentage, and a 1.750 slugging percentage as the Pride dropped two one-run games at 15th-ranked Christopher Newport in their lone contests last week. Tong posted three runs scored, seven RBI, one double, and three home runs in the defeats.     Lillie Davis, Meredith - The senior from Roxboro, North Carolina appeared in four games, three starts, and earned a 3-0 record last week for the Avenging Angels. In 20.0 total innings pitched, Davis posted a 0.35 ERA while allowing three runs, one earned, on seven hits with six walks and 24 strikeouts. In two wins over USA South foe Brevard, Davis tossed two complete-game (five-inning) wins allowing two unearned runs on four hits with three walks and 12 strikeouts.     Eliza Patterson, Southern Virginia - The freshman utility player from Naperville, Illinois went a combined 5-for-7 (.714) with a .750 on-base percentage, and an .857 slugging percentage to go along with six runs scored, one run batted in, one double, one walk, and one stolen base as the Knights swept a doubleheader from Wilson in the team's lone games last week.     Softball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
    Ava Strickland, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Benson, North Carolina appeared in two games, both starts, and went 2-0 without allowing a run in 11.0 total innings. In a 9-0 win over Mid-Atlantic Christian, Strickland tossed four innings and allowed one hit and two walks with three strikeouts. In a 2-0 victory over USA South rival Pfeiffer, Strickland tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits and one walk with three strikeouts.   • Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Tiger Hopkins, Pfeiffer - The senior attackman from Leeds, Maine totaled 11 points on eight goals and three assists with two ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. In a 12-10 win over Illinois Wesleyan, Hopkins scored the eventual game-winning goal to go along with two other scores, three assists, and one ground ball. In an 18-9 victory over USA South foe Greensboro, Hopkins scored five times and grabbed one ground ball.     Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
    Jay Moore, Methodist - The sophomore defender from Mooresville, North Carolina totaled six caused turnovers and seven ground balls to go along with two goals scored in a 2-0 week for the Monarchs against USA South competition. In a 12-10 win over William Peace, Moore collected four caused turnovers and four ground balls. In a 28-4 victory over LaGrange, Moore grabbed three ground balls, caused two turnovers, and scored two goals.     Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
    Myles Nielson, Southern Virginia - The freshman attackman from Tremonton, Utah totaled eight points on seven goals and one assist with two ground balls in a 1-1 week for the Knights. In a 24-3 loss to Division-II Westminster (Utah), who is receiving votes in the national poll, scored once with one assist and one ground ball. In a 17-6 victory at USA South foe Huntingdon, Nielson scored six times and grabbed one ground ball.   • Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Reese Walker, Meredith - The senior attacker from Fayetteville, North Carolina totaled 23 points on 15 goals and eight assists to go along with 12 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers as the Avenging Angels posted a 3-0 record last week. In a 20-8 win at Marymount, Walker scored five goals with two assists, two caused turnovers, and one ground ball. In a 24-1 victory over Illinois Wesleyan, Walker totaled six goals, three assists, nine ground balls, and seven caused turnovers. Finally, in a 23-0 victory over USA South foe William Peace, Walker scored four goals with three assists, three caused turnovers, and two ground balls.     Brooke Murrell, Methodist - The senior defensive midfielder from Perryville, Maryland totaled 12 caused turnovers, 14 ground balls, and nine draw controls, to go along with five goals and two assists, as the Monarchs posted a 2-0 record last week against. In a 20-0 win over Illinois Wesleyan, Murrell caused six turnovers, grabbed six ground balls, and had six draw controls with four goals and one assist. In a 14-4 victory over USA South rival Southern Virginia, Murrell caused six turnovers with eight ground balls, and three draw controls to go along with one goal score and one assist.     Quinn Branca, Pfeiffer - The freshman midfielder from Mays Landing, New Jersey totaled nine points on six goals and three assists with four ground balls, three draw controls, and two caused turnovers in the only contest last week for the Falcons, a 20-4 win over USA South foe Greensboro.   • Men's Tennis Player of the Week
    Martin Cardestig, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior from Kungsbacka, Sweden posted a 3-2 singles record at the number-five position last week for the Battling Bishops. Each of Cardestig's opponents were on nationally-ranked teams. He grabbed wins over opposition from Amherst (#11), Washington & Lee (#33), and Carnegie Mellon (#17) with losses to players from Wesleyan (#24) and Denison (#4).     Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    Largo Koch, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Sart-Dames-Avelines, Belgium posted a 1-2 singles record with a 1-3 doubles mark last week for the Battling Bishops. Each of Koch's opponents were on nationally-ranked teams. He grabbed a singles win at the number-six spot against a player from Amherst (#11). In doubles, Koch teamed with Brody Brice to defeat a squad from Stevens Institute of Technology (#39). Also Nominated: Hugo Kezen, Pfeiffer.

    Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Adam Singleton and Albert Sitwell, N.C. Wesleyan - The Battling Bishop duo earned a 1-1 record last week at the number-one spot. They defeated opponents from 39th-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology while falling to s duo from fourth-ranked Denison. Also Nominated: Noah Boyles and Ayden Montero, Brevard; Aissultan Mukhambetov and Bogdon Stan, Pfeiffer.

  • Women's Tennis Player of the Week
    Haley Ingenito, Pfeiffer - The junior from Brick, New Jersey earned a 1-1 singles record with a 1-1 doubles mark last week. In singles, Ingenito earned a win over opposition from Oberlin at the number two-spot with a loss at number-one to Piedmont. In doubles, she teamed Fanny Apostolou to grab a win over a duo from Oberlin. Also Nominated: Gracie Spangler, Pfeiffer.

    Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    BreAnn Ferguson, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Nassau, Bahamas earned a 4-0 singles record with a 3-0 doubles mark last week for the Battling Bishops. In singles, at the number-three spot, Ferguson grabbed wins over opposition from Quincy, Wooster, and Asbury to go along with a win at number-four against Coastal Georgia. In doubles, she teamed with two others to collect victories over Quincy, Coastal Georgia, and Asbury at the number-two position. Also Nominated: None.

    Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Andrea Elaez Miranda and Ivanna Torres, N.C. Wesleyan - The Battling Bishop duo earned a 3-0 record last week, one at number-two and two at number-one. The victories came over opponents from Wooster, Coastal Georgia, and Asbury. Also Nominated: Sydney Cohen and Riley Isley, Pfeiffer.

  • Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
    Jordan Jones, Pfeiffer - The sophomore from Gastonia, North Carolina competed in the 100 meters at the Charlotte 49ers Classic last week. Jones set a new program record by finishing in a time of 10.42. Also Nominated: Logan Wade, Methodist; Zeke Newman, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
    Donningtun Walters, Brevard - The sophomore from Dacula, Georgia competed in three events at the Montreat College Open last week. In the hammer throw, Walters had a mark of 43.75 meters while his discus effort was 42.48 meters. Finally, he had a mark of 12.64 meters in the shot put. Also Nominated: Jarius Fajardo, Methodist; Drake Stewart, Pfeiffer; Lucas Martin, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week
    Jonathan Moran-Sanchez, Pfeiffer - The freshman competed in two events last week at the Charlotte 49ers Classic. In the 100 meters, Moran-Sanchez had a time of 10.84 while finishing the 200 meters in 22.25. Also Nominated: Sawyer Apple, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Outdoor Field Rookie of the Week
    Jarius Fajardo, Methodist - The senior from Darlington, South Carolina has competed in two meets so far this spring. At the UNC Wilmington Invitational two weeks ago, Fajardo had a personal best effort in the high jump of 2.02 meters. Last week at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, Fajardo competed in two events, the high jump (1.93 meters) and the long jump (5.63 meters).   • Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
    Bayleigh Redd-Armstrong, Southern Virginia - The junior from Spanish Fork, Utah competed in three events at the Washington & Lee Carnival last week. In the 5,000 meters and the 1,500 meters, Redd-Armstrong set a new program records by finishing in 17:40.58 and 4:35.19, respectively. She also ran the 800 meters in a personal-best time of 2:18.52.     Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
    Mikki Prows, Southern Virginia - The senior from Escalante, Utah competed in the shot put at the Washington & Lee Carnival last week, posting a mark of 11.57 meters. Also Nominated: None.

    Women's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week
    Amee Newman, Southern Virginia - The freshman from Lovell, Wyoming competed in three events at the Washington & Lee Carnival last week. In the 5,000 meters, Newman finished in a time of 18:57.94 and in the 1,500 meters she posted a time of 4:45.45. Finally, in the 800 meters, Newman finished in a time of 2:21.77.     Women's Outdoor Field Rookie of the Week
    Jayden Carter, Pfeiffer - The freshman from Cleveland, North Carolina competed in two events at the Charlotte 49ers Invitational last week. In the long jump, Carter had a mark of 11.08 meters, and in the high jump she had a best-effort of 1.58 meters. Also Nominated: Makynna McDonald, Brevard; Bostyn Carlson, Southern Virginia.
