USA South Indoor T&F Athletes Fair Well at NCAA Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. ---The 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships took place at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama on March 13-14. The USA South Athletic Conference was represented by five total individual student-athletes and one relay team at the event with each of them earning All-American honors.

On the men's side, Pfeiffer's Jordan Jones qualified for the finals of the 60 meters and placed fifth in a time of 6.752 which is a new USA South record. The effort earned him First Team All-American honors.

For the women, athletes from N.C. Wesleyan and Southern Virginia were represented.

N.C. Welseyan's Kamiyah Wooten took part in the 200 meters and 400 meters, qualifying for the 200-meter final and finishing third in a USA South record time of 24.14. That effort earned her First Team All-American for the 200 meters. Wooten's teammate, Ti'asia Bryant, finished 15th in the 60 meters to collect Second Team All-American accolades. Finally for the Battling Bishops, the 4x400 meter relay squad (Saniya Hall, Kamiyah Wooten, Ti'asia Bryant, NaQuayla Stanford) placed tenth to grab Second Team All-American honors.

For Southern Virginia, the duo of Bayleigh Redd-Armstrong and Marin Simons each were named Second Team All-America. For Redd-Armstrong it was a 16th place finish in the mile while Simons came in 14th place in the high jump.
