LaGrange's Hunter Named Preseason All-American

LAGRANGE, Ga. – Senior offensive lineman Aaron Hunter (Dothan, Ala.) of the LaGrange College football team has been named to the D3football.com Preseason All-America team in an announcement on Wednesday.

Going into his senior year, Hunter was awarded Third-Team Preseason All-American honors after a junior year that saw him earn D3football.com All-American third-team honors, as well as being voted First Team All-Conference in the USA South Athletic Conference.

Hunter anchored a Panthers' unit that allowed just nine sacks in twelve games, ranking 19th in the nation in fewest sacks per game allowed and ranking second in school history in that category.

Hunter is the first player from LaGrange to receive Preseason All-American honors since former Panther great and current assistant coach De'queze Fryer before the 2022 season.

LaGrange is coming off their best season in school history as the Panthers went 10-2, winning the USA South Championship for the first time and reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
