(ROCKY MOUNT, NC) - The 2023 USA South Women's Cross Country Championship took place on Saturday, October 28 on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Meredith captured the championship for the second consecutive year. The Avenging Angels bested second-place Southern Virginia by 26 points and third-place Pfeiffer by 30 points. Individually, Pfeiffer's Madison Lowery won the meet for the second consecutive year as she finished the 6,000-meter course first in a time of 22:32.
The top-five runners at the meet were named First Team All-Conference, finishers 6-10 were awarded Second Team All-Conference accolades, and finishers 11-14 grabbed Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. Additionally, the Conference's Runner of the Year, Rookie Runner of the Year and Coach of the Year were announced. The full all-conference team can be found below.
