(ROCKY MOUNT, NC) - The 2024 USA South Women's Cross Country Championship took place on Saturday, November 2 on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Southern Virginia captured the championship for the second time in program history. The Knights bested second-place Pfeiffer by 25 points and third-place Mary Baldwin by 44 points. Individually, Mary Baldwin's Nicky Black won the meet as she finished the 6,000-meter course first in a time of 23:17.
The top-five runners at the meet were named First Team All-Conference, finishers 6-10 were awarded Second Team All-Conference accolades, and finishers 11-14 grabbed Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. Additionally, the Conference's Runner of the Year, Rookie Runner of the Year and Coach of the Year were announced. The full all-conference team can be found below.
