USA South Men's Golf Tournament Concludes Second Round

(SANFORD, NC) - The 2026 USA South Men's Golf Tournament is through two rounds, 36 holes, at Carolina Trace Golf Club in Sanford, North Carolina.

Following second round play, Methodist has widened its lead to a 37-stroke advantage over Southern Virginia who sits second, two strokes ahead of both Greensboro and Pfeiffer who are currently tied for third. Individually, Methodist's Haden Ruby shot a four-under par 68 to extend his lead to seven shots over teammate Beau Brewer who carded a two-under par 70. Rounding out the top-three is Southern Virginia's Nikko Taggart who is nine shots off the lead.

Additionally, of note, William Peace’s Sully Caruso recorded an ace on the par-three, 142-yard, 16th hole.

The third and final round will begin tomorrow morning, April 22.
