The USA South Athletic Conference will once again give institutions the opportunity to spotlight student-athletes each Wednesday as a part of the Conference's #WhyD3Wednesday initiative. In its tenth year, #WhyD3Wednesday allows student-athletes to briefly explain why they chose to attend their Division III institution as well as share some of their favorite things in life. "I chose Division III because it gives me the opportunity to participate in everything that I am passionate about at the collegiate level. I am able to play volleyball, be in Army ROTC, and participate in the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership (VWIL) all at the same time. I also enjoy the small community of Mary Baldwin and the opportunity for balance between sports and other activities."
