's "50 Years in 50 Weeks" - 1970-71

(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) - The 2013-14 season serves as the 50th for the USA South Athletic Conference. In an effort to relive 50 Years of League memories, the USA South has produced "50 Years in 50 Weeks", a weekly chronicle of some of the great moments in Conference history.

1970 - 1971

  • St. Andrews wins the final Conference Wrestling Championship as the sport is discontinued from League-sponsorship.

  • Methodist sweeps both the regular season and tournament bowling championships.

  • Lynchburg men's tennis wins its fourth consecutive and final regular season men's tennis title.


     


Virginia Wesleyan joins the League.
