's "50 Years in 50 Weeks" - 1974-75

(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) - The 2013-14 season serves as the 50th for the USA South Athletic Conference. In an effort to relive 50 Years of League memories, the USA South has produced "50 Years in 50 Weeks", a weekly chronicle of some of the great moments in Conference history.

1974 - 1975

  • St. Andrews captures the final Bowling Tournament championship as the sport is no longer sponsored by the league.

  • Lynchburg concludes an undefeated Men’s Soccer season en route to the championship.

  • Methodist sweeps the men's basketball regular season and tournament championships for the second consecutive season.

 
Conference Hall of Famer Jim Locke from Greensboro College
earns his first of six career Men’s Golf Coach of the Year awards.
