(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) - The 2013-14 season serves as the 50th
for the USA South Athletic Conference. In an effort to relive 50
Years of League memories, the USA South has produced "50 Years in
50 Weeks", a weekly chronicle of some of the great moments in
Conference history.
Each week, a year of moments will be released on the USA South's

1978 -
1979
- Virginia Wesleyan earns its first-ever Men’s Basketball
Regular Season championship.
- St. Andrews wins the first-ever Conference President’s
Cup which symbolizes the league’s top overall athletic
program each year…an honor St. Andrews would capture five
consecutive times.
- Virginia Wesleyan ends its run of three consecutive men's
soccer regular season championships..
