's "50 Years in 50 Weeks" - 1999-2000

(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) - The 2013-14 season serves as the 50th for the USA South Athletic Conference. In an effort to relive 50 Years of League memories, the USA South has produced "50 Years in 50 Weeks", a weekly chronicle of some of the great moments in Conference history.

1999 - 2000

  • Averett volleyball’s Courtney Cowart ends her career with a Conference record 5,639 assists.

  • Shenandoah softball’s Ellie Tanner sets career Conference record with a .486 batting average.

  • Averett baseball’s Jason Dooley sets single–game Conference Tournament record with 18 strikeouts versus Ferrum.

  • Methodist men’s golf finishes as runner-up at the NCAA Division III National Championships.
