(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) - The 2013-14 season serves as the 50th
for the USA South Athletic Conference. In an effort to relive 50
Years of League memories, the USA South has produced "50 Years in
50 Weeks", a weekly chronicle of some of the great moments in
Conference history.
Each week, a year of moments will be released on the USA South's

2001 -
2002
- Greensboro women’s soccer claims a share of its
first–ever Conference Regular Season title.
- Christopher Newport captures its first ever women’s
lacrosse regular season Conference championship.
- Methodist football’s Jamaal Leggette sets
single–game Conference records with seven tackles for loss
and six sacks.
- Christopher Newport baseball’s Matt Turner sets
single–game Conference record with 11 RBI versus
Shenandoah.
- Future Conference Hall of Famer, Methodist’s Elena
Blanina, wins the NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Individual
National Championship for the second consecutive season.
