(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) - The 2013-14 season serves as the 50th
for the USA South Athletic Conference. In an effort to relive 50
Years of League memories, the USA South has produced "50 Years in
50 Weeks", a weekly chronicle of some of the great moments in
Conference history.
Each week, a year of moments will be released on the USA South's

2002 -
2003
- Ferrum earns a share of its first Conference women’s
basketball and football regular season championships.
- Greensboro women’s soccer wins the program’s first
Conference Tournament title.
- Christopher Newport softball’s Michelle Kass finishes
season with a Conference record 0.67 ERA.
- Christopher Newport volleyball’s Amber Bradshaw sets
single–match Conference record with 16 service aces.

Averett men’s golf captures the program’s first-ever
NCAA Division III
National Championship while, individually, Janne Mommo (right
photo) wins the National Title.
