's "50 Years in 50 Weeks" - 2004-2005

(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) - The 2013-14 season serves as the 50th for the USA South Athletic Conference. In an effort to relive 50 Years of League memories, the USA South has produced "50 Years in 50 Weeks", a weekly chronicle of some of the great moments in Conference history.

2004 - 2005

  • Christopher Newport volleyball begins a run of nine consecutive Conference Regular Season championships.
  • Ferrum wins program’s first Conference Baseball Tournament crown.
  • Ferrum baseball sets Conference record with a season ERA of 1.33.
  • Shenandoah women’s lacrosse captures program’s first and only Conference Tournament championship while scoring a record 67 goals.
  • Ferrum softball’s Mary Greenway steals a Conference season record 50 bases.
  • The Conference awards Men's and Women's Presidents Cups, in addition to its Overall Presidents Cup, for the first time as Methodist captures the men's cup and Greensboro earns the women's cup.

N.C. Wesleyan men’s soccer wins its first Conference Tournament title.
