(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) - The 2013-14 season serves as the 50th for the USA South Athletic Conference. In an effort to relive 50 Years of League memories, the USA South has produced "50 Years in 50 Weeks", a weekly chronicle of some of the great moments in Conference history.

2008 - 2009

• Methodist men’s basketball’s Marcus Connor sets Conference single–season record with 133 blocked shots.
• Christopher Newport women’s basketball’s Chelsie Schweers sets Conference single–season record with an .881 free throw shooting percentage. She also earns the first of three consecutive Conference Tournament MVP honors.
• N.C. Wesleyan’s Danny Persson sets a Conference single–season men’s soccer record for goals scored with 26.
• N.C. Wesleyan baseball hits a Conference Tournament record ten home runs.
• Christopher Newport women’s lacrosse sets Conference Tournament records with 15 assists and 36 goals scored and zero goals allowed versus Shenandoah.
• Meredith volleyball sets single–match Conference record with 156 digs.
